On July 17th, Nik Kaestner, the Senior Building Decarbonization Coordinator for the San Francisco Environment Department, gave a presentation to IFMA SF about San Francisco’s Climate Action Plan. This plan’s objective is to lower the emissions produced by the City’s buildings. One of the topics discussed was the launch of the Climate Equity Hub and the efforts to initiate a building electrification campaign this fall. San Francisco’s goals and targets to reduce GHG were also discussed, as well as its core principles and potential new jobs for the city.
Thank you to Jennifer Galvin of Gensler for hosting the event and allowing us to tour Gensler’s fantastic new San Francisco office.
We would also like to thank Corovan for sponsoring the food for this event.
